NPFL side Katsina United have unveiled 11 new signings ahead of the 2026/2027 season, www.aclsports.com reports.
The Changi Boys, who finished ninth on the log at the end of the previous campaign, are aiming for a better finish in the standings this season and have now confirmed their latest additions to the squad.
Former Abia Warriors and Rivers United forward, Samson Obi, and Michael Ibe, who went down with Remo Stars last season, headlined the long list of arrivals at the Northern club. Midfielder Ubong Essien arrives from NNL side Akwa United on a two-year deal, along with defender Eric Ekpere.
Katsina United also added Cameroonian striker Luis Dadong, who stood out for Wikki Tourists and Kano Pillars last season. Goalkeepers Kolawole Oladipo and Koroma Francis (from Sierra Leone) have also joined the fold. Others include Chinedu Ozor, Joshua Akpan, Emmanuel Bakare and Abba Musa.
The new players were unveiled at a short ceremony held at the club’s secretariat within the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina. The Club Chairman and Supervising Coordinator, Surajo Malumfashi, and other club officials were present.
