Head Coach Ondo Wrestling Association, Purity Akuh has lauded the mentality of his wrestlers after their feat at the recently concluded National Sports Festival in Abuja.

Ondo state won 7 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze in the wrestling event at the fesitval.

He expressed satisfaction with the body language of the wrestlers adding that the youth athletes performed beyond expectation at the festival.

Purity said, “To my wrestlers I salute your courage, commitment and determination in promoting Ondo state.  The wrestlers have shown determination and zeal with their performances. The younger wrestlers like Sunmisola Balogun, Esther Kolawole and Fisayo Kolawole surprised me by winning gold medals. They defeated former champions at the just concluded National Sports Festival”.
