The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped two spots in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released on Thursday afternoon.

The team are now ranked 46th in the world, two places down from their 44th position, where they ended in 2018.

On the continent, Nigeria’s senior national team however retained their fourth spot after all the teams in the top ten dropped at least a place.

Senegal remain first in Africa and 24th in the world, while Tunisia (28), and Morocco (43), who dropped the most places (3), are the countries who find themselves ahead of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, in the world, it remained unchanged with Belgium still atop the ranking followed by world champions, France, Brazil, 2018 FIFA World Cup finalists, Croatia and semifinalists, England.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be revealed on April 4.
