FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of Brazilian winger, Malcom Filipe Silva de Oliveira from Bordeaux.
The Spanish champions Barcelona announced that they have signed Brazilian winger Malcom from French side Bordeaux on a five-year deal for 41 million euros ($48m).
“FC Barcelona and Girondins de Bordeaux have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Malcom Filipe Silva de Oliveira. The operation will cost 41 million euros and one million in variables,” Barcelona said in a statement.

The 21 year-old who was initially rumoured to be on his way to AS Roma had his transfer to Italy halted when Barcelona reportedly put in a bid for him yesterday evening after three failed bids to Chelsea FC for another Brazilian winger, Willian.
According to reports, his move to Roma was subject to medicals and he was on his way to Italy when Barcelona showed a late interest in the 21 year-old to hijack the deal despite Roma agreeing a deal for him.
Media reports have describe Malcom as a mixture between Willian Borges da Silva and Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior.

Malcom is expected to will undergo a medical on Wednesday morning before joining the team on their US tour.
