Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon is on his way to Spain, after competing his transfer to Levante UD from Belgian side, KAA Gent on Monday.
Simon joins the Spanish outfit for an undisclosed fee, despite having a year left on his contract at Gent.
“Moses Simon will defend the Barca shirt following resolution of agreement reached between Levante and Gent,” the club said in a statement.
Simon has signed a five-year contract with the La Liga side, which will see him stay at the club until the summer of 2023.
The 23-year-old, who missed the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia due to a muscular injury, spent three years at Gent after joining them in 2015 from Slovakian side, AS Trencin.
Simon went on to make 138 appearances, scoring 21goals for the club in the Belgian first division, Jupiler.
He has been capped 21 times by three times African champions, Nigeria.
