Responding if Plateau Peacock will retain their title, Joyce Mafwil said, “I do not want to talk much, let us meet in Lagos so that we can decide.

“You are aware some of my teammates played at the U17 and U21 African Championships including the 2019 African Games in Morocco, I am optimistic they will make an impact in the second phase.

“As an older player, my job is to motivate the younger players and letting them know the importance  of sports”, the pivot player added.

The second phase of the 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League is scheduled for 5th to 17th October, 2019 at Rowe Park Sports Centre, Yaba, Lagos.
