Nigeria battles Japan on Wednesday to stand a chance of finishing 17th at the ongoing 2019 IHF Men’s Junior World Cup in Spain. The match will be played at the Complejo Deportivo de As Travesas Sports Hall, Vigo by noon.

Nigeria made history by beating Australia 35-21 to win her first match at the world cup losing to Sweden, Egypt, France and South Korea respectively.

Nigeria winger, Mohammed Anas said he is ready for way against Japan in the make or mar match.

Anas who was Nigeria highest goal scorer against Sweden said the game is going to be a dicey one but Nigeria will prevail.

He said, “All I want is for us to win the game against Japan which will enable us fight for the 17th position. We have made a positive impact in Spain and we promise to do our best when the opportunity comes calling again”.

He further said, “Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win. I want Nigeria to remember our face; I am ready for war against Japan”.
