Handball Lge: COAS Shooters cage Prison Key Boys

Joseph Gbawuan led COAS Shooters to beat Prison Key Boys 30 to 24 goals on the final day of the first phase of the 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League in Abuja.

Prison Key Boys led 14 goals to 12 at some point but the combination of the Nigeria U21 player and Captain Samuel Samora sailed the Chief of Army Staff Shooters to victory after 60 minutes of play.

An elated Joseph Gbawuan told www.aclsports.com that he is excited to win the last game of the first phase for COAS Shooters. Gbawuan said the first phase was tough but promised to improve on his play.

Also speaking the head coach, Emeka Nnamani said his boys will have to put more efforts in the second phase. Nnamani disclosed that the first phase was full of surprises and promise to do better.
