Gymnastics: I want to produce for Nigerian Champions says Asuquo

The founder of TIG International Gymnastics Club, Anthony Asuquo says the target of this year’s TIG tournament is to produce gymnasts who can win laurels for Nigeria at International tournaments.

The 8th edition of the TIG International Championships is billed for December 1st, 2018 at the National Stadium package B, Abuja.

Asuquo told www.aclsports.com that the one of the objective of the event is for gymnasts to meet up with any major gymnastics standard in the worldwide.

He said, “My dream is to produce gymnasts who can win medals for Nigeria at the 2019 All Africa Games, African Championships and ultimately the Olympics.

“The aim of the levels championship is to enables gymnasts to grow in a stepped away in line with the world code of point and rules set by the federation of the world gymnastics body FIG”.

Asuquo said, “The expectations for the 8th edition is of the higher levels, because gymnasts are better with more elements strong coordinated body alignment when performing their routine in different levels to meet up with any major gymnastics standard in the worldwide”.

“Some of the participants of the TIG international championships are in South Africa, Ethiopia, UK and other Africa nations doing well. They even have the potential of competing at the world level championship”, he added.
