The board of the Nigeria National League ( NNL) has announced that the 2024-25 Super 8 Playoffs will hold in Asaba, the Delta State Capital, from July 5 – 8, 2025, www.aclsports.com reports.

Teams that qualified for the Super 8 are; Warri Wolves, Osun United, Crown FC, Kun Khalifa FC, Wikki Tourists, Yobe Desert Stars, Doma FC and Barau FC

Following the conclusion of the regular season of the Southern Conference on June 15, the board has now confirmed a venue and date for the season-ending event.

“We are happy to announce that the sports loving Governor of Delta State Hon. Oborevwori, has given approval for the hosting of NNL Super 8 in Asaba,” said the Chairman of NNL, Mr. George Aluo, while confirming the venue of the competition.

“We’re grateful for this kind gesture, which will further cement the position of Delta State as a leading sporting state in the country.

“By this gesture, we’re ready to have a successful completion of the 2024/2025 season and produce the best teams that will play in the top flight next season,” the league supremo concluded.

Teams that qualified for the Super 8 are: Warri Wolves, Osun United, Crown FC, and Kun Khalifa FC of Owerri from the Southern Conference, while Wikki Tourists, Yobe Desert Stars, Doma FC, and Barau FC came through the Northern Conference.

The top two teams from the two conferences will be promoted to the Nigeria Premier Football League for the 2025-26 season.
