While Chiamaka Okuchukwu skied her effort for the Angels, her colleague, Agyaakwa Sofia had her spot kick saved by Bayelsa Queens goalkeeper, Onyinyechukwu Okeke.

For the Queens, though Edet Glory hit her spot kick against the crossbar, Olapade Zainab duly converted the fifth kick to send the ladies into a frenzy.

Commissioner of Sports in Bayelsa, Daniel Igali dedicated the victory to the members of the supporters club who died in an auto crash in Kwale while coming to Asaba for the finals of the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six about two weeks ago.

Igali urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to go beyond the finals of the Federation Cup by making sure that the winners book a ticket for continental competition.

Adaobi Okah of Rivers Angels won the highest goal Scorer award with her 5 goals which propelled her side to the final of the Federation Cup.

Bayelsa Queens went home with #10 million Naira, while Rivers bagged #5 million Naira.
