Germany-based Elizabeth Anyanacho (OLY) will be Nigeria’s sole representative at the ongoing 2023 African Senior Taekwondo Championship in Cote d’Ivoire, www.aclsports.com gathered.

Over 221 athletes from more than 30 African nations are present in Abidjan for the two-day G-4 tournament taking place at Centre Sportif Culturel et des Tic Ivoiro-Coréen Alassane Ouattara (CSCTICAO) in Abidjan.

Elizabeth Anyanacho won a bronze medal in the -67kg (welterweight) at the Taiyuan 2023 World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Taiwan.

The 2019 African Games bronze medallist will be seeking to increase her chances of not only qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics but becoming the first Nigeria to make it to the Olympic Games back to back.
