2018 AITEO Cup champions and Nigeria’s representatives in this season’s CAF Confederation Cup, Rangers International have been drawn alongside the two Tunisian sides in the group stage of the competition.

Gbenga Ogunbote’s wards will test their might against the highest ranked team in the competition Etoile du Sahel as well as CS Sfaxien, both from Tunisia in Group B with Burkina Faso side Salitas FC completing the group.

Rangers are unbeaten in this year’s competition after six matches during which they won five and drew just one, the latest; a 2-1 win over Bantu FC of Lesotho which sealed their passage into the group stage of the competition.

The Nigerians who got to the semi-final of the competition in 2003 will host Salitas of Burkina Faso in their first group game at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu on Sunday, February 3.
