Nigeria top ranked Taekwondo athlete, Bright Kolade said it is his aspiration to win gold at the forthcoming All Africa Games in Morocco.

Kolade told www.aclsports.com that his dream can be achieved if he attends tournaments outside the country.

Kolade who is currently ranked number one in the men’s -74kgkg weight class disclosed that winning gold at the All Africa Games is possible.

He said, “I have always dreamed of not only representing Nigeria at the All Africa Games but making a mark by winning gold in my weight class.

“For this reason, I am currently seeking help from family, friends, well wishers and potential sponsors to assist me in attending training tours outside Nigeria.

He further said, “The medal at the All Africa Games will be a spring board to my performance at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics because it is a prerequisite. If I want to get more points ahead of the biggest sporting event in the world, I will have to perform well at the All Africa Games”

The 12th All African Games will take place from August 23 to September 3, 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. This will be the first time that the African Games will be hosted by Morocco.
