Nigerian sprint sensation Miracle Oluebube Ezechukwu has officially joined Auburn University’s track & field program, www.aclsports.com reports.

The 17-year-old, who has been turning heads across Nigeria and Africa, arrives at Auburn following a string of standout performances. She broke the MTN CHAMPS 100m record with a time of 11.75 seconds, qualifying for the World U‑20 Championships, and went on to win the final in 11.81 seconds.

Ezechukwu claimed gold in the Girls’ U‑18 100m at the African U18/U20 Championships in Abeokuta, weeks after completing her WAEC exams at Nigerian Tulip International School, Abuja. She followed up with another triumph at the African School Games in Algiers, winning the 200m title in 23.40 seconds.

Known for her explosive speed and competitive drive, Ezechukwu is one of Nigeria’s brightest sprint talents. Her move to Auburn University gives her access to world-class coaching and NCAA Division I competition.
