World record holder Tobi Amusan clocked 12.28s to win the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League on Sunday, www.aclsports.com reports.
The Nigerian hurdler equalled her season’s best in a tightly contested final, pulling clear late on to secure victory ahead of American duo Grace Stark and Alaysha Johnson at the Stade Sébastien Charléty in Paris.
Amusan did not lead early, sitting fourth at the halfway mark, but gradually built momentum through the race before moving to the front in the final phase.
Stark finished second in 12.38s, while Johnson placed third in 12.39s to complete a tightly packed podium, with just 0.11 seconds separating the top three finishers.
This race in Paris is the third time this season that Amusan has clocked 12.28s, underlining her consistency at elite level as she maintains strong momentum in her 2026 campaign.
