Former national Wushu-KungFu athlete, Mohammed Abbass says the Federation is died under the leadership of Adekunle Adewunmi.

Abbass said since Adekunle Adewunmi became president of the Federation, Wushu-KungFu has not organised a single national championship.

He told www.aclsports.com that Wushu-KungFu will finally be buried if the current president returns the second time.

Abdullahi said, “As at today, Wushu-KungFu is already dead in Nigeria, all thanks to our Federation President, Adekunle Adewunmi. All athletes do is to train everyday without to hope of attending any national or international tournaments.

“As I speak with you, the Wushu-KungFu has not organised a single championship since 2017 Adekunle Adewunmi came on board. Our president is not accessible and does not pick calls from athletes and coaches.

“If Kunle Adewunmi is voted in for the second time, Wushu-KungFu will be finally buried in Nigeria”.

He said the only program organised by this current board was a coaching and officiating course in Lagos in 2019.

He said, “The Genesis of the coaching and officiating course in 2019 was because they claimed the national coaching centre in Lagos will be in charge of certifying coaches and officials in Nigeria but it is unfortunate that nothing meaningful has come out of the centre till date”.
