We won’t disappoint Nigerians at FIVB U19 Girls World C’ship

The 2023 FIVB Girl’s U19 World Championship is billed for Croatia/Hungary from 1st to 11th August with Nigeria in Pool B alongside Croatia, Turkey, Dominican Republic and Germany.

The head coach of Nigeria U19 Girls Volleyball team, Elishama Elam has promised not to disappoint the volleyball community ahead of the 2023 FIVB U19 Girls World Championship.

Elam, who is expected to lead Nigeria to the World Championship, admitted that the team is drawn against tough group opponents but he remains confident.

The coach of COAS Spikers said, “We know what is at stake and we won’t disappoint, that’s all I can say”.

“Nigeria will be making her first appearance at the U19 Girls World Championship and we cannot afford to let the country down. The Pool B has tough teams but the players will give their very best on the court”, he told www.aclsports.com

The Chairman of Nigeria Volleyball Coach Association called on the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development as well as well meaning Nigerians to support the Nigeria Volleyball Federation in her quest for glory.

He said, “The Nigeria Volleyball Federation has played a major role in ensuring the team picks a ticket for the World Championship. I am calling on critical stakeholders including the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to assist the Nigeria Volleyball Federation in giving these young girls adequate preparations ahead of the challenge.”
