He said, “I am excited to sign for Ittihad De Tanger VC for the 2024 season. The atmosphere is very friendly and I have been welcomed by the players, coach and management. I know the Moroccan league is different from the Nigeria Volleyball League, much will be expected from me and I promise not to let my club down.

“I want to make a huge impact and contribute to the success of the club; my confidence is getting stronger by the day. I strongly believe I have what it takes to lift my club to the next level.

“We beat CET Étudiants Tetouan 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-19) in our first match of the year and we shall continue to sustain this momentum till the end of the season”.

Mathias said his desire is to win the National Division Men’s Championship title with his club side.
