Record FIFA U17 World Cup holders Nigeria have landed in Brazil, venue of the 2019 global fiesta for players under the age of seventeen.

The Golden Eaglets have won the tournament five times, more than any country in the history of the competition, the latest in Chile in 2015.

They will be hoping to do it again under the tutelage of Manu Garba who also led Nigeria to global conquest at the United Arab Emirates in 2013.

Twenty-five players were taken on board from the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Abuja on Wednesday night from which four are expected to be dropped after the final MRI tests in Brazil.
