As usual, FIFA has released its monthly ranking of national teams for the month of November, with Belgium maintaining number one spot ahead of 2018 World Cup winners France who placed second.

In Africa, the ranking was largely based on the fifth round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and friendly matches played during the month.

Senegal, who have already qualified for the upcoming AFCON, emerged as number one team on the continent with 1505 points, moving two places up.

Last month leaders Tunisia total 1493 points down from 1515, losing four places, following the two defeats they conceded during the month.

Morocco placed third in Africa thanks to their two victories over Cameroon and Tunisia, while Nigeria finished fourth with 1427 points down from 1431 but without losing a place.
