National Champion, Elizabeth Anyanacho says she is not scared by her opponents and will give a strong showing at the Nigeria Taekwondo International Open.

Anyanacho was ranked number one in the Women’s – 67kg rankings released by the Nigeria Taekwondo Federation last January.

The Abuja based fighter won gold medals at the Nigeria Opens held last December and the 2018 National Sports Festival in Abuja.

“It is going to be a tough category but I am ready and well-prepared,” said Anyanacho.

She added, “I am delighted to be in participating in the Nigeria Taekwondo International Open because I practice every day of the week since the date was rescheduled”.

“To be ranked number one in Nigeria for the second consecutive time means a lot to me. I feel good and excited and hope to replicate such form at the upcoming G ranked event happening in my country”, she said.
