Following Nigeria’s ouster from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics qualifiers the foreign based players returned to their respective clubs during the week picking from where they left off in terms of performances.

First off was Oshoala who scored the only goal as Barcelona Femeni picked up all three points against Sporting Club Huelva away from home.

In the end, Oshoala’s 29th minute strike was enough against a resolute Sporting Huelva side as the Spanish giants remain top of the log.

In Sweden, Falcons duo of Halimatu Ayinde and Ngozi Okobi put in impressive displays for Eskilstuna United in an important victory.

Okobi scored the only goal with a well taken shot while Ayinde was handed the man of the match award for her display. Both players continue to impress for Eskilstuna United as they once again completed the entire 90 minutes.

SC Braga forward, Chinaza Uchendu was also in action for her side on Sunday evening as they recorded a big victory away from home. The Portuguese side walloped UR Cadima 7-0 in a show of dominance over the home team.

Back to Spain where Osinachi Ohale and Chindma Okeke were in action for their respective sides. Ohale’s CD Tacon played a 1-1 draw away from home while Okeke came in as a 74th minute substitute as Madrid CFF were defeated 1-3 at home.
