Super Falcons winger, Rinsola Babajide, scored for AS Roma Women in their 1–1 draw against Inter Milan in the first leg of the Coppa Italia Women’s semi-final, www.aclsports.com reports.

Babajide, fresh from the international break where she played a key role in Nigeria’s win against Cameroon, gave Roma the lead in the 52nd minute, finishing off an assist from Evelyne Viens to put the hosts ahead after a goalless first half. The goal was her first since scoring the late equaliser against Parma in the league.

Roma looked set to take a slim advantage into the return leg before Inter drew level late on. Tessa Wullaert converted from the penalty spot in the 87th minute to ensure the tie remains evenly balanced heading into the second leg.

Babajide featured prominently for the hosts and was replaced in the 77th minute after an impressive shift in attack.

Her compatriot and Super Falcons teammate, Shukurat Oladipo, started in defence and played the entire match for Roma.

The return leg will take place on 28 March, while Roma will face Fiorentina in their next Serie A Femminile game on Sunday, 15 March.
