Coach Olubukola Duru says she is proud of Lagos Seasiders players playing at the ongoing second phase of the 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League in Lagos.

Duru stated this after Lagos Seasiders narrowly defeated Niger United 30 to 29 goals on Day 8.

Duru told www.aclsports.com that beating the defending champions; Niger United means a lot to her.

She said, “I am extremely proud of my players after their wonderful display this night (Sunday). After Niger United beat Kano Pillars on Saturday, people thought we would get beaten by the Minna based team but I told my boys not to bother about the score line and focus on how to stun the defending champions.
