Super Falcons midfielder Jennifer Echegini scored on her 50th appearance for Paris Saint-Germain Féminine in their 2–1 win over Olympique de Marseille in the Division 1 Féminine on Wednesday, www.aclsports.com reports.

Returning to club duty after the international break with Nigeria following the postponement of the 2026 WAFCON, Echegini delivered the breakthrough in the 72nd minute. The goal was her first since scoring against Benfica in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The midfielder finished calmly after being set up by Merveille Kanjinga to hand the home side the lead in a tightly contested encounter.

PSG doubled their advantage eight minutes after Echegini’s opener when Tara Elimbi scored in the 80th minute with a fine finish created by Sakina Karchaoui.

Marseille pulled one back three minutes later through Jenny Perret in the 83rd minute, but PSG held on to secure their 12th league win of the season.

Her Nigerian compatriot Rasheedat Ajibade started the game, providing energy and creativity in attack before being substituted in the second half for Elimbi.

The Parisians currently sit second in the standings, 10 points behind defending champions Olympique Lyonnais.
