Super Falcons forwards, Chiwendu Ihezuo and Francisca Ordega were on target at the weekend as Henan Huishang and Shanghai both recorded wins in China.

Ihezuo scored a brace in her side’s 4-0 demolition of Guangdong Meizhou to help Huishang make it back to back wins in the Chinese Women’s Super League (CWSL).

Ihezuo opened scoring for her side within eight minutes, completing her brace four minutes later to make it her second consecutive brace following last week’s brace away at the Dalian Olympic Sports Centre against Dalian Quanjian.

Also in China, Ordega struck to help her side record a 3-2 win and condemn Jiangsu Suning to her first defeat of the season.

After going a goal down, Ordega struck in the 36th minute to restore parity and eventually begin the comeback win for the hosts over Jiangsu Suning. The Super Falcons has now scored eight times in as many games for her CWSL side.

In Sweden, Halimatu Ayinde and Ngozi Okobi both featured for Eskilstuna United in a convincing 4-0 win over Kungsbacka as Okobi found herself in good space after the restart and played in her team mate  Lisa Dahlkvist who converted to double her side’s lead.

Meanwhile in Norway, Rasheedat Ajibade’s brilliant assist in the 60th minute helped Avaldsnes to a crucial 1-0 win, hence returning to winning ways after a run of poor results.
