Nigeria’s Yemisi Olatunji set yet another record by making sure she successfully defended her Zimbabwe Open title in Bulawayo.

The Nigerian, whose participation at the tournament was initially in doubt, defeated her sister, Busayo Olatunji to claim the title.

Olatunji powered past her sister Busayo Olatunji in a comfortable victory, effortlessly beating her rival 3-1 major set in a one sided encounter.

The Nigeria number one female squash player said, “I feel so happy for retaining my title as safeguard Zimbabwe open 2018 ladies champion after playing my sister (Olatunji Busayo) in the final”.

“It is always been a pleasure seeing players coming together, making new friends, learning different culture and good communication skills.

Olatunji said she plans re-strategizing ahead of the major international tournaments hosted in Nigeria.

“As an elite athlete you should know why you lose or win a tournament, am re-strategising on what I need to get myself ready for the next Lagos international  classic and Chamberlain open”, she ended
