Six-time African Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala, scored a hat-trick to send Al Hilal into the Saudi Women’s Premier Challenge Cup semi-finals with a 5–0 victory over Eastern Flames on Saturday, www.aclsports.com reports.

Oshoala, who came into the match having scored six league goals in seven appearances, opened the scoring in the first half at Al Taraji Club Stadium, giving Al Hilal a deserved lead at the break after a commanding display. The Nigerian forward struck again shortly after the restart, calmly finishing to double her side’s advantage.

With Eastern Flames struggling to cope with Al Hilal’s attacking intensity, Oshoala completed her treble later in the match, netting the club’s fourth goal to record her first hat-trick of the season.

The emphatic 5–0 result ensured Al Hilal finished second in Group A, behind Al Nassr, who topped the group with a perfect record. Al Qadisiyah ended third, level on points with Al Hilal but behind on goal difference.

Al Hilal will be looking ahead to the Saudi Women’s Premier Challenge Cup semi-finals after Oshoala’s ruthless display, hoping to reach the final and win their first trophy since lifting the Kingdom Women’s Community Football League title in 2020.
