Remo Stars Ladies have announced four new signings ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Women Premier League (NWFL) Premiership season, www.aclsports.com reports.

The Ikenne-based side has strengthened its attacking options with the addition of striker Chiamaka Ojialor from Abia Angels. Ojialor, who impressed last season, is expected to bolster the squad following the departure of last season’s top goalscorer, Olamide Bolaji.

In defence, Akanji Kaosarat adds depth to the backline, while pacey winger Anifowose Kadijat, from Dreamstar Ladies, provides speed and width to the team’s attack.

Wemimo Mathew’s side has been drawn in Group B of the NWFL Premiership and will kick off their campaign against newly promoted Ahudiyannem Queens on 26 November.

The club has also announced its leadership for the season, with defender Immaculata Offiong named captain, assisted by Ogundele Olasubomi and Oleka Eberechukwu, following the departure of former captain Akudo Ogbonna to Tanzanian side Young Africans.

Remo Stars Ladies are now looking to build on last season’s strong foundation after finishing fifth in their debut Super 6 appearance, signalling their intent to challenge at the top of the league this season.
