Safety Shooters, Kano Pillars and Safety Babes have won all six games on Day 6 at the ongoing 2019 Prudent Energy Handball League in Abuja.

Safety Shooters of Abuja beat COAS Shooters 35 to 29 goals to top the male standing with 12 points and 85 goals difference. Safety Shooters have scored 240 goals and conceded 155 goals.

Kano Pillars beat defending champion, Niger United by 23-22 to condemn the Minna based team to their third defeat of the tournament. Kano Pillars are second on the log with 12 points and goal difference of 70.

Lagos Seasiders are third on the log with 10 points. Seasiders beat Kada Stars by 36 to 29 goals, while De Defenders defeated Plateau Vipers to jump to fourth on the log.

Other positions are; COAS Shooters (fifth), Niger United (sixth), Plateau Vipers (seventh), Kada Stars (eighth), Borno Spiders (ninth), Sokoto Rima (tenth), Owena Kings (eleventh) and Prison Key Boys (twelveth).

In the female category, Safety Babes are sitting comfortably on the log table after beating Defenders Babes in a local derby by 33 to 28 goals.

Safety Babes have won all six matches and have 12 points with a total of 83 goal difference.

Imo Grasshoppers and Edo Dynamos are second and third respective on the log table. Edo Dynamos condemned Imo Grasshoppers to their first defeat beating her by 25 to 19 goals. Grasshoppers and Dynamos both have 10 points.

Defending champion, Plateau Peacocks having won four games and lost one are fourth on the table with 9 points and 56 goal difference, while Seasiders Babes of Lagos have five points winning two games, one draw and two losses.

In sixth position is Kada Queens with three points (one win, one draw and three losses), Defenders Babes have lost four games, drew one and won one game to occupy seventh position.

Desert Queens of Katsina secured one with and have lost four matches; sitting in eight position.

Abia Valliants and Owena Queens are ninth and tenth position losing all five matches with zero points.

De Defenders 23 v 16 Plateau Vipers
