Match day 7 of the Prudent Energy Handball League holding at Rowe Park in Yaba, saw Prison Key Boys lose again as they remain pointless so far in the league.

The Prison Key Boys were defeated by Plateau Vipers 26-21 in their search for a first win while COAS Shooters bagged their 5th draw 26-26 in 7 matches in a tight contest with Sokoto Rima.

Bornu Spiders defeated Kano Pillars 34-30 while D. Defenders defeated table toppers Niger United 34-32.

Kada Stars easily defeated Owena Kings 38-28 while second place team Safety Shooters defeated home side Lagos Seasiders 29-28.

For the ladies, Defender Babes defeated Owena babes 39-27 while fourth placed Seasiders babes of Lagos defeated Desert Queens 25-15.

Abia Valliants lost in a close contest to Kada Queens 26-25 while Plateau Peacocks now top the table after defeating Safety Babes 34-31.

Finally for the women, Edo Dynamos defeated experienced Imo Grasshoppers who are now third on the log.

The most valuable players of the day; Dorothy Nyagh of Defender Babes and Adejori Sunday of Owena Kings were rewarded with =N=10,000 each and a plaque for their immense contribution to their respective teams.
