Mariona Caldentey then added a second in the 31st minute to give the Spanish Liga Iberdrola a comfortable lead going into the break.
After the break Mariona and Claudia Pina added two more goals to emerge 2019 winners of the Copa Catalunya Cup at the expense of Espanyol.
The win means that the Nigerian forward has official begun her trophy haul in Spain having lost out on the league in the closing stages and the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) to Lyon.
Oshoala is now expected to join the Super Falcons of Nigeria for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifier clash against Algeria on Monday.
