Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala continued her fine run of form for Barcelona Women in a 4-0 win over Espanyol as the Spanish outfit lifted the Copa Catalunya on Saturday night.

The Nigerian forward opened the scoring in the 24th minute in a convincing win to make it nine goals in six games in pre-season and 17 in 17 games so far since joining on loan in January and making the move permanent in June.

After the break Mariona and Claudia Pina added two more goals to emerge 2019 winners of the Copa Catalunya Cup at the expense of Espanyol.

The win means that the Nigerian forward has official begun her trophy haul in Spain having lost out on the league in the closing stages and the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) to Lyon.

Oshoala is now expected to join the Super Falcons of Nigeria for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifier clash against Algeria on Monday.
