Super Falcons defender Oluwatosin Demehin has announced her departure from Galatasaray after two seasons with the club, www.aclsports.com reports.
The 24-year-old joined Galatasaray in September 2024 after leaving French club Stade de Reims, signing an initial one-year contract.
During her debut season, Demehin made 28 appearances for Galatasaray across the Turkish Women’s Super League and UEFA Women’s Champions League, including the qualifying rounds. She made 21 appearances in the league and seven in Europe, as Galatasaray finished fourth in the domestic league.
Following her impressive first season, Demehin signed a one-year contract extension in August 2025 and made 22 appearances in the 2025/26 season. She scored one goal in Galatasaray’s 3–2 Istanbul derby win over eventual league champions Fenerbahçe, as the club finished third.
Demehin posted a message of appreciation to the club, saying: “Thank you Galatasaray for an incredible chapter. It has been an honour to wear this badge and represent this great club. I leave with great respect, gratitude, pride and unforgettable memories. Wishing the club continued success.”
