Super Falcons defender Oluwatosin Demehin scored a late equaliser as Galatasaray came from behind to defeat Fenerbahçe 3–2 in the Turkish Women’s Super League Istanbul derby on Monday, www.aclsports.com reports.

Demehin struck in the 90th minute to level the scores, rising at a crucial moment to shift momentum in favour of the home side before Divine Manga netted a stoppage-time winner in the 90+2 minutes to hand Fenerbahçe their first defeat of the season.

Galatasaray took the lead in the 20th minute through Jang Chang before Fenerbahçe responded strongly with Andrea Stašková scoring twice. The Czech forward equalised in the 42nd minute and put Fenerbahçe ahead just after the restart in the 47th minute.

Fenerbahçe, who had Nigerian duo Regina Otu and Flourish Sabastine in their starting line-up, looked set to extend their unbeaten run before the late collapse.

The result keeps Fenerbahçe top of the table with 71 points, while Galatasaray move to 64 points, cutting the gap to seven points with a game in hand.
