“We are determined to build a stronger and more competitive Shooting Stars team ahead of the new season. Our objective is to improve on last season’s performance and ensure that the club competes effectively on both the domestic and continental fronts,” Salami said.

“We appeal to our supporters to remain behind the team. Their support has always been important to us, and we want them to fill the stadium and encourage the players as we begin this demanding campaign,” he added while asking for more support from the fans.

Speaking at the event, Chief Executive Officer of Chowdeck, Mr Femi Aluko, expressed delight at the partnership and the personal intersection with the club.

”My father is a big fan of Shooting Stars, so I am part of the club now. This is a traditional club, and Chowdeck is the biggest online food delivery service in Nigeria. So, this is the intersection of Sports and technology,” Aluko said.

”I think it is going to be a great season for us. It is important that we all win together and share the losses. We will see a lot from Chowdeck in terms of action, in terms of what we are doing for the club and Ibadan at large.” Aluko added.

He added that Chowdeck’s vision aligns with that of Shooting Stars and expressed optimism about what both parties can accomplish together during the new season.

Also speaking, Head of Engineering and Projects at BOVAS Group, Engineer Tolulope Ayediran, expressed the company’s excitement about partnering with Shooting Stars.

”We are very excited to be part of this particular club. We looked at the club’s trend and its intersection with BOVAS. 3SC is a pride of Ibadan and Nigeria; likewise, BOVAS has its HQ here. We are going to see a lot of our participation going forward.

Ayediran confirmed that the partnership is structured as a five-year deal, assuring the club’s supporters of greater collaboration, visibility and impact throughout the duration of the relationship.

The club will begin its NPFL campaign on Friday, August 28, with a home fixture against Inter Lagos at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.

Meanwhile, the Oluyole Warriors are scheduled to begin their CAF Confederation Cup campaign against CS Sfaxien, with the first leg billed to take place in Abeokuta on September 5, while the return fixture is scheduled for September 13.
