Lagos side Ikorodu City have moved to third on the Nigeria Premier Football League log following a 2-0 win over Warri Wolves on Sunday, www.aclsports.com reports.

The Oga Boys have been in fine form since the 2025-26 season started, and they gave their best performance on the road yet, to pick their first away win of the season.

After beating Kun Khalifat 2-0 in their previous league outing, Ikorodu City scored twice in the opening half to edge the Seasiders in Ozoro. Lanky midfielder Tomisin Adebayo and Goodluck Anuba with the goals.

In Katsina, Kano Pillars’ winless run continued as they were held to a goalless draw by Bayelsa United. Sai Masu Gida have now gone five games without a win, and are rooted to the bottom of the log. Similarly, it finished goalless between Abia Warriors and Enyimba in the Abia derby.

Kwara United’s Johnmark Aule scored a fine goal to cancel out Anas Yusuf’s early goal for Nasarawa United in the North Central Derby decided at the Lafia Township Stadium.

In Bauchi, Wikki Tourists needed a late goal from Naziru Auwalu to beat Niger Tornadoes 1-0, as Chidozie Iwundu’s goal also helped 2024 champions, Rangers International, beat Shooting Stars of Ibadan in Enugu.

The remaining matches of the match day will be concluded on Monday with games between Remo Stars and Elkanemi, Kun Khalifat v Rivers United, and Plateau United v Bendel Insurance.
