After a lengthier than lent wait, the 2019/20 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season will commence this Sunday with twenty (20) teams slugging it out for the next thirty eight match weeks.

While a lot of focus are being put on what caused the delay in the commencement of the season or how invaluable the league has become, it is very important that we take good note of some very basic but extremely useful information at the start of the season.
