Former Rwanda U21 player, Yves Mutabazi has signed a one year contract deal with Marek Union Club of Bulgaria. The head coach of Rwanda Volleyball teams, Paul Bitok disclosed this to www.aclsports.com on Wednesday evening.

Bitok disclosed that Mutabazi becomes the third Rwandan volleyball player with a professional contract overseas.

He said the former APR left-attacker will get more exposure and add flavor to the team when they intensify preparations for the senior nation’s cup next year.

“Before now, we had only two players plying their trade overseas and Mutabazi just added his name to the list. Lawrence Yakan Guma plays for Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler in Japan, while Fred Musoni plies his trade with Finland first division side, Liiga Riento.

“It is a good step forward for Yves (Mutabazi) and his career as a volleyball player. His services will be missed at APR, but we wish him the best in Bulgaria,” Bitok said.

he said, “Looking forward to complete two more contract of the young stars and regular players before October 2018”.

The Rwanda international has been with APR volleyball club since 2012.
