Lagos teams recorded big wins on day 3 of the National Under 18 and 21 Handball Championship at the Rowe Park Sports Centre Yaba, Lagos.

In the Under-21 male category, Kwara got their first defeat of the competition following their 31-25 loss to Lagos State in a tightly contested match.

Bayelsa dug deep to beat Nasarawa 26-24 in their first win of the championship in the Under-21 male category.

In the other Under-21 game, FCT recorded their first win of the championship as they comfortably defeated Academy side Future Pro 40-29.

Meanwhile, the Lagos Under-18 female team inflicted a heavy defeat on Future Pro. The Lagos team recorded a 50-18 victory over the Academy team while the cadet Lagos male team followed suit with a 55-19 victory over Mindscope Academy.

U-21 male: Future Pro v Nasarawa

U-21 male: FCT v Bayelsa

U-18 male: Mindscope v Kogi

U-21 female: Kwara v FCT
