Future Pro of Ogun Under-21 male team lost their third consecutive game at the ongoing National Under-18 and 21 Handball Championship in Lagos.

Bayelsa State beat Future Pro 50-31 in a one sided game played on Court 2 at the Rowe Park, Yaba Lagos.

During the first half, Future Pro proved to be a hard nut to crack but later fell 25-18. They played with a man down in the second half and eventually lost.

Future Pro lost to FCT and Nasarawa in their first and second game of the Championship.

The star match of the day was between Lagos State and Rising Stars of Abuja. Nigeria Under-21 player, Ibrahim Dikko led team Lagos to victory beating Rising Stars of Abuja 33-28. After a thrilling first half, Lagos took a 16-13 lead going to the break.

Meanwhile, Lagos Under-18 narrowly beat Future Pro 31-29 in an entertaining game. The home crowd thought Lagos would massacre Future Pro but the Ogun based team gave their neighbours a tough fight. Lagos State eventually took the first half by six points, 16-10.

High flying Kwara State whitewashed Nasarawa 54-27 in the Under-21 male game. Despite having the presence of two National Under-18 players, Nasarawa could not withstand the pace of the Ilorin based team as they lost 25-17 in the first half.

In the female games, Mindscope beat Kogi State 33-19 in the Under-18 while Kwara State walked over Future Pro in the Under-21 female.
