Qatar Sports Club of Doha have announced the signing of Nigeria senior goalkeeper, Oladunjoye Adamolugbe on a one year deal for the 2023/2024 Qatar Handball League, www.aclsports.com reports.

Oladunjoye Adamolugbe previously played for Al Shamal of Doha between 2013 to 2022 (9 years) before making his current move.

The Nigeria International told www.aclsports.com that he will put smiles on the face of his new side.

He said, “I am really glad and very happy to sign for Qatar Sports Club of Doha. I am familiar with the league and I promise to repay the club by giving my best during the league.

“Playing with Qatar Sports Club of Doha is different from playing for other clubs in the Qatar League; I’m glad I made the decision of joining this great club and project, there’s still much more to come from Qatar Sports Club of Doha believe me, if you underrate them at your own risk,” he concluded.

Adamolugbe revealed that the Qatar league can compete with the top European League in the world due to the standard of play.

He said, “I have stayed long enough to know that the Qatar Handball League is one of the competitive leagues in the world. Our league can compete with top European Leagues because of the high level as well as the facilities.”
