The Super Falcons of Nigeria have landed at the Avita Resort facility in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria for a two-week residential camp ahead of the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup (FIFAWWC) finals.

A delegation of 9 home-based professionals, technical and administrative staff departed from Abuja on Monday night aboard an Air France flight, and travelled from Paris to the Austrian capital, Vienna on Tuesday morning before connecting Bad Tatzmannsdorf.

At the airport in Vienna, 9 foreign-based professionals from different parts of the world joined the contingent taking the number of players to 18, plus England-based Ini-Abasi Umotong who is already waiting in camp to take the total number of players currently in camp to 19 with only 8 more expected.

By Friday, 23rd of May, coach Thomas Dennerby will announce his final squad of 23 players who will make the flight to France on the 4th of June.
