FC Robo forward, Rasheedat Ajibade has promised to give her all should she make it to the Women Africa Cup of Nations (AWCON) in Ghana and be given an opportunity to perform.

Reminiscing on a not too impressive season with the Lagos-based side,he says: “the NWFL hasn’t really been pleasant but all glory to God because when it has been good and perfect we are all enjoying it together and sometimes it’s tough and luck is not smiling on you but you still have to give glory to God.”

If selected among the final list of players to represent Nigeria at AWCON 2018 she says: “I’ll be grateful to God and very excited.”

However, it is important to note that the FC Robo attacker will be up against some big names in the battle for a slot in the final list. So, should you make it to Ghana and be given a chance to prove yourself what would you do to keep yourself in the team? (Laughs)… If I am given the opportunity to perform I will always play my heart out.

“This is because every opportunity I am given to represent my country be it in Africa or at the World stage, I will always give it my best because I see it as a dream come true for me. So whatever opportunity I get I will always play my heart out,” she adds.
