Meanwhile, First Bank have been drawn in Group B alongside MB2ALL(MAD), Lakers (ZIM), I.N.S.S (COD), Kenya Ports Authority (KEN) for the FIBA Africa Women’s Champions Cup 2018.

The draw took place on Thursday in the Mozambican capital city of Maputo. While
Group A has Ferroviario de Maputo (MOZ), FAP (CMR), InterClube (ANG), Equity Hawks (KEN), V-Club (COD).

Dolphins who also qualified from FIBA Africa Zone 3, will not be playing in the Continental Cup. A Dolphins player anonymously told ACLSports.com they couldn’t travel to Maputo due to finance.

Primeiro D’Agosto of Angola, who won last edition earlier pulled out of the tournament.

The Preliminary Phase of the tournament which begins on Saturday 17th November will be played in a round robin format with each team taking over its opponent respectively.
