Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho marked his return to Leicester City with a goal after an underwhelming World Cup in Russia.

The Leicester City striker came on in the second half against Udinese who were 2-0 up and made the most of a good counter attack opportunity to half the deficit.

Iheanacho’s 88th minute strike was however not enough to prevent the foxes from falling to the Italians.

Also making a return to pre-season action for the foxes was Nigeria’s World Cup hero against Iceland, Ahmed Musa and midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi who were both introduced on the hour mark to get some minutes under their belt.

With the new English Premier League season less than two weeks away, the Super Eagles stars will be hoping for more minutes in subsequent matches with the foxes to regain match fitness.
