Huddersfield Town are set to add West Ham’s problems this season after they revealed their readiness for the encounter against the Hammers at the London stadium.
The Terriers have adjusted easily to life in the top flight division, and currently sit third on the log after taking seven points from their first three matches.
So, with a visit to the London stadium, home of Slaven Bilic and his struggling Hammers side on Monday night football, Terriers’ manager, David Wagner says his side is ready for the ‘special’ trip to London.
“We are ready for the West Ham match; playing in the London Stadium will be very special and we are excited,” Wagner said in a press conference.
“We are focused on ourselves as usual and know we have to get the little details right against West Ham.
“I will let the players know they can write Premier League history with Huddersfield if they keep a clean sheet against West Ham.
“We have spoken to Hamid & Flo about our style & have given them as much information as we can; they are fit and available.”
Wagner also expressed delight with his Premier League coach of the month nomination, dedicating it to his players.
DW: “I am delighted to be nominated for the Manager of the Month award but that’s only down to the hard work of my players.” #htafc (AT)
