Remo Stars head coach Olumide Ajibolade has fired up the fans in a letter ahead of the club’s NNL season opener against Rovers FC, www.aclsports.com reports.
Ajibolade, former BLFA head coach, was named head coach back in July and will lead the team out officially on Sunday. The 2025 NPFL champions went down last season and are set for a promotion attempt starting from the opener against the visitors at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
In a letter on the club’s social media account, Ajibolade rallied the fans to come around and back the new crop of players, while promising that the team will fight and aim higher in the 2026/27 NNL campaign.
”This new season is a fresh chapter for us. Our NNL opener is against Rovers FC this Sunday in Ikenne, 8th November at 4pm. Together, we will fight, we will entertain, and we will aim higher. Let’s fill the stands and show them what our family can do. Thank you for always being there!”
Remo Stars will begin their promotion campaign with a home fixture against Rovers, as they look to kick off their quest for maximum points on a winning note.
