Head coach of Adamawa Spikers, Michael Godwin has expressed happiness over his team’s win over Oluyole Spikers at the ongoing 2023 National Division 2 Volleyball League.

Adamawa Spikers pummeled Oluyole Spikers 3-0 (25-16, 25-22,25-20) to end the Ibadan based team unbeaten run in the league taking place at the Volleyball Court, Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.

Godwin also known as OG said his boys have rediscovered their winning aura after they decided to play as a team and that they hope to stick to that in their remaining games.

Michael Godwin of Adamawa Spikers

“I feel happy and motivated by what we did. I want to thank God for the victory and the players for their cooperation. It is the standard. We must play as a unified team. We have all the quality players but if we are not united, we won’t be able to do anything better,” Godwin told our correspondent.

“We will continue to surprise our opponents just like we did against Oluyole Spikers. We won’t take our remaining games lightly.”
