CAVB sign African club Championships Agreement with Ahly

Confederation of Africa Volleyball (CAVB) President, Dr Amr Elwani has signed the African Men and women Club Championship’s agreement in Ahly Club set to be played next March and April with the officials of the club.

in a statement obtained by  www.aclsports.com, the Women’s African Club Championship is set to start on March 16 until March 25, while the Men’s edition will show up 1 to 10 April, 2019.

“We are optimistic to see another thrilling competition at the great Ahly Club after the successful last year’s editions,” said CAVB President Dr Amr Elwani.

“Ahly club won the bidding against Esperance of Tunisia, as our new strategy insists. Now, Ahly is ready also to host the Club World Championship in the coming years.” He added.

CAVB Vice President Jean Claude Mopita, who inspected the competition halls, stated that Egypt is always a good field for Volleyball and can develop more our sport.

“We expect good competition for the event as usual in one of most famous clubs in the continent.
